Strawberry Fruit Sauce Brownies

How do you make fudgy brownies even better?  With strawberries!  Strawberry fruit sauce is a perfect match for rich chocolatey brownies! 

Ingredients

  • 2 pouches GoGo squeeZ® Apple Strawberry Fruit Sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips, divided
  • Garnish with fresh strawberries

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking pan with parchment paper.

Whisk the fruit sauce, eggs, and sugar together in a mixing bowl

In a separate bowl combine the all-purpose flour, almond flour, baking soda, and salt.

Mix the vegetable oil and cocoa powder together to make a paste, then add to the wet mixture.

Gently fold in the flour mixture to the wet mixture, just until combined. Stir in ¾ cup of the white chocolate chips then pour into prepared pan, sprinkle with remaining ¼ cup chips evenly on top.

Bake for 23-25 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing to slice. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.

*TIP* With an easy substitution of the chocolate chips, this recipe will be dairy-free! You can also make it vegan by using an egg substitute like a “Flegg, flax-egg”.
