Apple Cream Cheese Frosting

This easy no sugar added frosting is delicious on cakes, cupcakes, tortes, cookies, or even on its own as a fruit dip. 


  • 250 g brick cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered monk fruit sweetener or powdered stevia sweetener
  • 1 pouch GoGo squeeZ® Apple Apple fruit sauce
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon apple pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Place softened cream cheese, monk fruit sweetener, fruit sauce, coconut oil, apple pie spice and salt in a blender cup. Blend with an immersion hand blender until smooth, scraping down sides as needed.
Tip: Monk fruit is a natural sweetener derived from a small round fruit in the gourd family and is 150-200 times sweeter than sugar. It is often blended with erythritol (a zero-calorie natural sugar alcohol) to resemble table sugar. It does not spike blood sugar levels and is suitable for diabetics or reduced sugar diets.

Some brands have better texture than others, the fine powdered monk fruit brand used in this recipe is Lakanto and can be found in grocery stores, health food stores or online.
