Ingredients

  • Quick Pickles:
  • 1 cup thin sliced carrots
  • 1 cup thin sliced radishes
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • Sliders:
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean fermented chili pepper paste)
  • 454g lean ground beef
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 pouches GoGo squeeZ® Apple Organic Pineapple Kiwi Fruit Sauce
  • 12 brioche slider buns
  • 2 cups Tex Mex shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onion
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Directions

1
Preheat oven to 375°F
2
To make quick pickles, place carrots and radishes in a 2-cup shallow bowl or glass so they are just level with the edge of the bowl. Pour vinegar, water, and sugar in a heat proof measuring cup. Microwave for 1 minute, stir until sugar is dissolved and pour over carrots and radishes. Liquid should just cover the vegetables. Set aside.
3
Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over high heat, add onion and gochujang; cook stirring frequently for 1 minute or until onions have softened. Crumble in ground beef and add soy sauce cooking until beef has browned; about 2 minutes. Stir in fruit sauce and cook for 5 minutes or until sauce has reduced by half.
4
Slice slider buns horizontally in half. Place bottom buns on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spread beef mixture evenly over bottom buns. Drain pickles and sprinkle evenly over beef mixture. Top evenly with green onions, and cheese. Place top buns on cheese and brush lightly with sesame oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
5
Bake for 5-7 minutes or until cheese has melted. Serve immediately.
