Spiced Honey Apple Sauce Cake

Apple fruit sauce keeps this easy to make snacking cake moist. Level it up with the healthy no sugar added apple cream cheese frosting! 


  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons apple pie spice
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup grape-seed oil or other neutral tasting oil
  • 3 pouches GoGo squeeZ® Apple Apple fruit sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher or sea salt


In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder and apple pie spice. Set aside.
In another large bowl, whisk honey, brown sugar, oil, fruit sauce, eggs, apple cider vinegar and salt.
Fold flour mix with a rubber spatula into wet ingredients until just incorporated.
Scrape batter into a parchment lined 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake in preheated oven at 350°F for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out cleanly.
Let cool 5 minutes before removing to a cooling rack. Serve warm or let cool completely before frosting.
Slice cake into 24 equal pieces.

Tip: Cake will keep covered at room temperature for up to 3 days. If kept refrigerated, warm in microwave for 10-15 seconds for optimal texture.
